德阳市人民医院（简称德医）是德阳地区唯一的国家三级甲等综合医院。位于经济发达的四川德阳工业重镇中心，是四川大学华西医学中心教学医院、四川大学华西医院远程会诊中心、第三军医大学西南医院灾区建设发展战略合作医院、以色列希勒雅法医学中心友好医院、四川省继续医学教育认可单位及住院医师规范化培训基地、国际紧急救援中心网络医院。
医院占地面积150亩，编制床位1300张。现有在职职工1363人，其中博士、硕士研究生104人，享受国务院特殊津贴1人，有省突出贡献的优秀专家1名，省卫生厅学术技术带头人及后备人选5人,市级拔尖人才5名。年门急诊人次逾110万，收治住院病人逾3.5万。设置临床科室30个，医技科室10个。有省级重点专科4个，疾病研究所（中心）及实验室17个，其中产前诊断中心为德阳地区首家，区域性乳腺癌防治网络中心开国内先河。
配置了包括德国西门子直线加速器、德国西门子公司64层超高速螺旋CT、飞利浦1.5T核磁共振、德国西门子公司16层螺旋CT、美国GE公司DR、乳腺DR、飞利浦新型彩超2台、日本阿洛卡彩超1台、飞利浦大型平板X光机、LASIK“鹰视”激光治疗系统、德国肯莎维标准层流手术室、德国爱尔博电外科工作站等国内领先的一流诊疗设备及专业的ICU诊疗系统。开展乳腺癌筛查及早诊早治技术、可调节封闭式负压引流创伤治疗技术、产前诊断技术、自体骨髓/脐血干细胞移植治疗终末期肝病技术、心脑血管疾病介入诊治技术、冠状动脉搭桥技术、危重症抢救技术、微创外科技术、恶性肿瘤综合治疗技术、眼底疾病诊治技术、内窥镜诊治等先进诊疗技术。
承担了四川大学华西临床医学院、重庆医科大学、成都中医药大学、泸州医学院等十余所大中专院校临床实习与带教任务。近十年来，获各级政府科技奖30余项，专利5项，在省级以上期刊发表论文1700余篇，SCI收录9篇，科研水平稳步提升。

People’s Hospital of Deyang City (PHDC) is the only Level-3 Grade-1 public hospital in Deyang District. It is located in Deyang City, a developed industrial city. The hospital is also a teaching hospital and a remote medical consultation center of West China Medical Center of Sichuan University, a strategic cooperative hospital of Southwest Hospital of Third Military Medical University, a brother hospital of Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Israel, an authenticated hospital of Sichuan Continuing Medical Education Center and a standardization training base for resident doctors, and a networked hospital of the International Emergency Aid Center.
The hospital covers an area of about 100,000 square meters and has 1300 designated patient beds. It has 1363 working staff, of which 104 doctors hold PHD and MD degree, 1 staff enjoys the special allowance from the State Council, 1 expert has outstanding contribution to Sichuan Province, 5 candidates are selected in academic projects of Provincial Health Bureau (including 1 academic leader), and 5 top-notch talents of Deyang City. The annual outpatient volume is over 1.1 million person/times, and the annual inpatient volume is over 35,000 person/times. The hospital has 30 medical departments and 10 technical departments. It has 4 special departments of provincial importance and 17 disease research centers and laboratories. It also has the first Prenatal Diagnosis Center in Deyang District and the first regional Breast Cancer Network Center in China.
The hospital is equipped with leading equipments in China, including Siemens linear accelerator, Siemens 64-layer superspeed spiral CT, Philips 1.5T MRI, Siemens 16-layer Spiral CT, GE (US) DR, breast DR, 2 sets of Philips new-type color ultrasound machines, 1 set of Aloka (Japan) color ultrasound machine, Philips large flat-panel X-ray machine, LASIK “eagle vision” laser therapy system, Kenswick (Germany) standard operation room, and ERBE (Germany) electric workstation and professional diagnosis & therapy system of ICU. It has advanced medical technologies such as breast cancer screening & therapy technique, adjustable vacuum sealing drainage technique, prenatal diagnosis technology, medium & end stage liver disease treatment with ABMT/CBSCT, interventional treatment technology for CCVD, CABG technique, treatment for crises, minimally invasive surgery, comprehensive treatment technology for malignant tumor, diagnosis & therapy technique for disease of fundus ocull, and endoscopic treatment etc.
The hospital is a clinical internship and teaching base for more than 10 universities and colleges, including Clinic College of West China Hospital, Chonqing Medical University, Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Luzhou Medical College. In the past 10 years, the hospital has been awarded with over 30 scientific prizes by the Government, acquired 5 patents, published over 1700 papers on journals above provincial level (9 papers were included by SCI), with steady improvement of scientific research level.
In recent years, People’s Hospital of Deyang City insists on the development concept of “Standardization, Humanization, and Academic-orientation”.
